Jaleh Niazi, Md
Pediatrician
Dr. Jaleh Niazi has lived in the Bay Area for greater than 30 years. She obtained her bachelor's degree in bioengineering at UC Berkeley and M.S. and M.D. degrees from UCB-UCSF Joint Medical Program. Her pediatric residency training was at Children's Hospital Oakland.
She is married and has three wonderful children.

GRACE BECKER, pnp
Nurse Practitonar
Grace is a Bay Area native with long term ties to the East Bay and Peninsula. She studied Public Health and Spanish during her undergraduate education at the University of Arizona. Grace attended Vanderbilt University in which she acquired a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Pediatric Primary Care. She joined the New Day Pediatrics team in January of 2020. In her free time, Grace enjoys baking and spending time with her cat, Daisy. Grace is a San Francisco Giants fan and loves to travel.
Danielle Hong
Medical Assistant
Danielle Hong graduated from Cal with a degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology with a concentration in Immunology. She likes cooking, hiking, and doing yoga. Danielle speaks Korean! She is on a cake baking roll.
GABBY NGUYEN

Gabby Nguyen grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from Cal with a degree in Psychology. She loves drawing and painting, and occasionally does work as a freelance artist. She also enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and attending music festivals.
Austin le
Medical Assistant
Austin Le is currently finishing a Master's program in Environmental Health Sciences at UC Berkeley where he completed undergraduate degrees in Integrative Biology and Molecular Environmental Biology. He loves trying new foods, plant-based cooking, and playing his ukulele. Austin speaks Vietnamese. On weekends, you can find him hiking local trails or exploring the Bay Area.

My Position Title
Paula Nordstrom Miranda graduated from Cal with a degree in English and a minor in Global Public Health. She enjoys working for the Suitcase Clinic and loves to read romance novels. Paula speaks fluent Spanish. She is currently reading "Love and Other Disasters."
RIYA Master
Medical Assistant
Riya Master is a senior at Cal studying Integrative Biology. She is extensively involved in politics and social justice initiatives. Riya enjoys trying different cuisines, listening to live music, and visiting new countries. She is excited to continue exploring the Bay Area next year!
MIREYA CABRAL-MIXCO
Medical Assistant
Mireya Cabral-Mixco is a Cal Alumni with a BA in Molecular and Cellular Biology and four AS degrees from Diablo Valley College. She has been passionate about medicine since elementary school and strives to be the first healthcare worker in her family. In her freetime she loves organizing camping trips, spending time with her two cats, and playing water polo.
